Easy recipe for beginners-  Chicken and Vegetable Rolls


We get bored of eating healthy everyday. Sometimes we feel like eating something spicy or fried. Out of all the fried things I prefer chicken and vegetables roll. When we think about rolls the very first thing that comes to our mind is a lot of work. A lot of work, like cutting vegetables, boiling or frying chicken, frying vegetables, filling it in roll and finally frying the roll. So in this blog I’m telling you ways how you can save time and make rolls with less work, time and effort.

Ingredients

Capsicum or Bell pepper.            6 pieces medium
Carrots                                         4 medium 
Beans ( optional)                          one cup
Sweet Corn ( optional)                 one cup
Cabbage                                       Half flower
Chicken                                       800 grams 
Salt.                                            1 Table spoon according to your taste
Black pepper.                              Half table spoon
Vinegar ( optional).                     Vinegar and chilli sauce is used alternatively
Chilli sauce.                                1 Table spoon
Soya sauce.                                 1 Table spoon
Lemon.                                        2 lemons
Oil.                                              For frying 
All purpose flour.                        For closing/ sealing roll sheets (paste )
Water.                                          For sealing roll sheets ( paste) 
Roll sheets.                                  50 Roll sheets



Method:

You don’t need to cut vegetables with hand it will take a lot of time. If you’re an expert and your cutting is fast you can do it yourself

 Filling:

1- Take a cutter. I took Nicer Dicer it helped me a lot. We can also take hand choppers.I took small cubes shaped cutter fixed it and started cutting capsicum and carrots you can grate as well up to you. You want chunks or grated vegetables. You chop cabbage into small shreds or you can grate it as well up to you.

2- Marinate chicken with salt, black pepper and lemon juice. Leave it for one or two hours. We can use it immediately as well.

3- Fry carrots for few minutes then add capsicum put salt, chilli sauce, soya sauce and Black pepper and let them get soft. 

4- You can add water and let the marinated chicken boil. Boil it till the water is evaporated and dried

5- Mix this chicken in fried carrots and capsicum.

6- Add boiled sweet corn and boiled beans if you like this step is totally optional

7- Add cabbage in the mixture

8- Your vegetable and chicken is ready now.

9- Do not cook them full because we have to fry them again with rolls.

10- Now we will fill the Roll sheets with this filling


Roll preparation:

Put the filling Vegetable and chicken mixture into the rolls and seal it with flour and water paste
Roll sheet would be square shape


Fill the filling in a tube shape and roll it.
Put the all purpose flour and water mixture at the edges ( three edges).
Now seal it


You can store them in an air tight jar with a plastic sheet inside each layer so that they don’t stick together



Take out from refrigerator and fry it.
Serve with a ketchup or sauce
